My 2002 lb7 just rolled over 287k on the ticker. I bought it with 246k back in august 2011. The only modifications right now are rdl intake horn, Ppe boost valve, rdl downpipe, straight 5" exhaust with just a hyper tech box for now. The truck has randomly had a small haze at an idle over the past couple years. It has quite a bit of fuel clatter especially with the cruise control set at highway speeds... I grabbed my brothers snap on scanner the other day to check the balance rates and they were all within like +-2.7 I'll post the screen shot in a few. Now out of nowhere for the first time last week it dropped down to about 40° here and it started to lope. Only when the temps are cold even with the engine warmed up. I haven't had the chance to log the desired and actual for but it seems to me that the truck also doesn't pull as hard on the top end as it usually does. Makes me think that the fpr might be sticking occasionally. The truck was a one owner truck. Very well maintained all Moog front end parts acdelco replacement parts on the engine. Not even a single oil leak anywhere. Very possible not stock motor or very well maintained motor. No history on injectors though. Thoughts anybody? Don't wanna go throwing money at it yet if I can fix the first problem then do injectors when I'm ready.
