Ya your probably right..but it seems like I'll never be happy..but playing around with it at the track is something totally new for me to explore..I'm pretty excited to get involved in it. I think my next one I'll lift and leave it that way

Sounds fun. I've had a few lifted trucks and my 02 is the only one I've been able to leave at a "somewhat" stock ride height. I miss the lift sometimes. But it's nice not having to jump in and out of a pickup all day

The '01 in my avatar is lifted 6" and has been completely rebuilt from the frame up. It's been five years in the making but it will finally be ready this spring. My goal is 10.xx being lifted and all. Obviously I'll have four 33" slicks to try and do this. Everyone keeps telling me to remove the lift if I want to go fast. All I want is a 10 sec run and another to back it up and I'll be happy.

Have you run your truck at the track as is?

This. Love my lift even thought I've gone back and forth on taking it off. There is something cool about saying you run 12s/11s on 37s lol. Not to mention no one expects you to be fast

Ya that's going to be nice! Plus I have a 9month old and its a pretty tough reach to get him in his seat from the ground

No I haven't..mainly because I'm not 100% sure how it would act with a hard launch..but the biggest thing was getting smoked by trucks with way less power because they are running at stock hight w/smaller tires...I didn't realize how much 37"s slow you down..after we installed the lift and tires we stopped 3 times thinking the e break was still on:(

Exactly!! Its fun being big and quick..but some times ill get taken by a sports car etc..and think to myself....I'd have killed it at stock hight

Haha!! James, you and I think alike;) The WTF look on people running against you is priceless.

it really is! its definitly a rarity to see a big ass truck own sports cars from a roll or dig.
