Okay, So I am trying to get a 702 group together to come down for the pull. So far looks like I will pull and maybe my sister, also maybe a dodge (lol). anyway.

my questions?
1. Will my dual fuelers kick me out of the WS class?
2. Can I throw sand bags in rear for a few extra lbs?
3. Anyone in North LA have a spot to park my trailer I'll bring down in case one of us breaks something, I dont wanna haul it everywhere until we need it, lol.
4. what about trucks with side exhaust, do they need to direct flow up? Do they need to cross bolt behind turbo.
I lloked at the NADM rules, should we follow them or will this pull be diff. than NADM events?

Im gonna work on my setup next week. Gonna do a few things. It will be a first time for just about all of us. Hopefully we can get a group together and come have some fun.

Thanks.

Your gonna be in the same class as Tommy because of your dual fuelers. There is some rules online. I 'll get that link for you. I think you can put sand bags in but you cannot way over 8k iirc.

Also, i will cover the entry fee for any 702 member that pulls.

And should I happen to win prize money, (graunted I dont break anything) i will donate any winnings toward our 702 club/group, or pay for dinner with it lol. (you get the idea).

Here you go dude

The rules posted above should pretty well answer your questions. In short, dual fuelers will put you in the pro street class, good thing is that class has more money in it to win. Sand bags in the back are ok, just keep things looking clean and Sano with that, and no problem.
As for the trailer, maybe just put one of your groups trucks on the trailer and ride together and split fuel. You can unhook and leave the trailer at the event. We are on the north end of LA county. As for exhaust, it is recommended you have it going straight up with cross bolts in it, but one or the other is better than nothing. I am trying not to lean to hard on the rules as to encourage more rookie pullers to come out and give it a try, but we want to do everything we can to be safe.

One thing you do want to try to have is a suitable hitch. A 2" ball is not ideal, you really want to have some type of a ring with a 3" opening.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Look forward to having you guys out.

what height does the ring need to be?
does the ring need to be parrall to the ground or can it be sideways?
also can i just use my pintle hitch ( it has a ball but the top closes down to form a ring)
what type of hook is on the sled?

thanks, i wanna get this right before i drive all the way out there only to be told i dont have the right stuff to pull, thanks.

Max 26 inch from ground for the ring. I saw a guy with a pintle set up last time. There will be some willing to let others borrow a hitch. I just put one together for myself. I was nervous for my first pull, but everyone is really nice and will help you succeed.

hey on the rules for the exhaust, I see where yal are talking about the exhuast needs to be straight up.. So, if I was to try a pull in the future, I would need to get a stack in the bed of my truck??? Why are they mandating the stack and not coming out the side? just trying to learn...
