Okay I have a c p 3 problem truck would not start. so I replace the cp 3 and fuel pressure regulator. I had in lb7 pump and fuel pressure regulator. I installed a l l y fuel pump and a lb 7 regulator. Now look truck seems to have less power. I know on the data logger from efilive live that I was putting out 26,000psi rail pressure when the demand was at 27,000 before the change. I have yet to put it on efilive since I installed a new pump.
Is it possible that the old fuel pump putting out more psi thanand it should of?
It seems to have a noticeable power loss . Less smoke a a little doggie. Don't get me wrong it still runs strong. But not as strong as a did.
should I throw a lbz fuel pressure regulator on it?
Thank you

Are you POSITIVE the old cp3 was the cause of your no-start problem because it sounds like it ran awful good. Idk why it would run like a raped 1 time then cause a no-start the next? Usually they just get weak (tolerances go away) or explode when they go bad it seams. :D

I think you should log it first. Throwing parts at a truck to fix it gets expensive

I am sure the problem was cp3 or regulator. I had a loud buzzing coming from reg.
The truck ran great but there was a time or two recently (before cp3 change)that the truck felt like it ran out of fuel in 4th gear. Now I dont have the buzzing of the reg. But I feel I lost top end pull slightly.
Thank you
