Been to Louisville KY on 64 lately? I'm in construction too and all that concrete being placed between Shelbyville and Louisville is one of my responsibilities. Needless to say, I'm busy there too.

WOW, If u get state contracts like that why turn wreches????
That a mess on 64, but it will be nice when it's finished, Did u know the guy that got killed while working on that site a few weeks ago, Sorry to hear about that.

I'm just a field engineer that oversees concrete materials, design and placement. I turn wrenches because i love doing it.
This is the first I've heard about a death on that job but it doesn't surprise me. we've had 5 workers killed in 5 years. Was this guy working for a sub maybe?? We had two motorist killed on 264 in the past two weeks. a guy ran out of gas then was hit by a car and a guy on a motorcycle thought he'd avoid traffic by swerving into the work zone around some cars at 100+ and failed to see the arrow board. we're only guess 100+ though because he didnt have time to hit the brakes. the bike burst into flames and the arrow board was thrown about 140 feet end over end.
It was a crazy two weeks for sure.
