i could only imagine that steering wheel would be hard to hang onto. any idea on a hp and torque number?
Is he a member here?It will take north of 1600 HP to be competitive in the mod class and I'm sure Kyle will be on par with the group.

x2 No shit, To only go and guess a truck built from the ground up, tube chassi, full fiberglass body, hyd steering, new engine setup could make a complete straight pass the first time out is A COMPLETE IDOIT. Sorry Rome wasn't built over night people. Kyle was the FIRST to build any dual cp3 kit for ANY duramax. ATS flew him out to colorado to show them how he designed and put together the electronics. He intern got a ATS extreme tranny and some cash. He has since then like said above been the lead in sled pulling in the duramax classes being the first truck to run a aftermarket turbo, cp3's, big injectors, And for what i know blowing one up by bending the rods....I remeber him making 5 passes on a engine and switching them out becuase there was no rods to be made and he new the limit on power from his setup and passes he could make pulling....I am by no means to cheerleader for kyle as i know he is computer illiteret (SP)? but give credit were credit is due. Im sure he will get stuff ironed out and be back and until then bugs will have to be worked out. If you don't like someone by all means bash away but none the less if you haven't been there and done that it frustrates me to see people that don't pull/drag race competitively and know how much time cash R@R it takes to make one good pass. Never the less a hole season full of passes ugggg im doneIt amazes me the ignorance of some people thinking a truck at that level works as it should first time out. Don't know the guy but good luck to him.
More than that. You would have a hard time prying my truck out of my fingers for that 100.what dose a truck like that cost?100k?
Some of us can have a great first run on a completly new truck but not everyone can pull that off.
Did i say it was easy? No i didnt. I have built many trucks with great turn out. No i have not built a mod truck "YET" but you have no idea whats in the works.Where is your Mod truck if it is so easy?
I give the guy credit for breaking new ground. I'm sure there will be a learning curve with a completely untested setup.

Im no green horn to pulling and building trucks. Im still learning with my completely new untested setup, but thats pulling.
There is always multiple ways you can read text. Dont get caught up in reading it the wrong way.No you did not directly say it was easy...it was more implied.
I respect what you've done in the pulling world, but that seemed like an under-handed remark.
If you do build a mod truck, for the good of the Dmax community, I hope it runs well.
It has two large turbos and 3 cp3s. And north of 100k in parts with no labor included. If I had to guess.
It come up in r's almost too smooth.I thought Kyle was all set on going mechanical injection....?
