Sweet. Front door white water rapids. :D. But in all seriousness I hope it quits raining and recedes. I hate floods about as much as I hate wildfires.

Yep I got some picks too. It never got in the house but it did get in the garage and real deep in the crawl space & barely in the floorboards of one of the vehicles. The furnace is in crawlspace & was about half under water & isn't working now. :(. Hopefully just the elec switch but we'll just have to see. Also got my elec impact I bought from matt on here sikdmax) as it was floating around in my garage (garage us ~5 feet lower than house) & water poured out when I opened it up.

All in all though we were pretty lucky compared to many! Went to church with wet feet & shoes though this AM. LOL.

Crazy part was how quick it came up. We live a 150' off a creek and it wasn't in the yard at 7:30 this morning but the neighbor came & woke us at 8:30 & it was already up to the house & had gotten in the car before we could move the vehicles. Crazy!!

I'll get some pics up n a day or so. It's pretty wild.

WOW !

My In-laws just moved from a Lil town just outside Lexington about 45 mins away from there to Va.

I guess they just missed that mess.

I hope you all are able to rebuild back to what it was pre-flooding.

Having been through a similar problem a few years ago ourselves, it does get better and the pain does eventually go away.

My prayers are with all that are and will be affected by the floods and the associated problems afterwords.
