The Kumho AT51 is a newer tire and I do not have a ton of experience with. We have done a couple sets, just not a lot of real miles on them. They are a far far better tire than the old KL71, that was a terrible AT. The AT51 looks similar to the tried and true Firestone AT that Firestone ended up discontinuing. That tire was rock solid and we were sad to see it go, and we feel like the new Kumho fills that void.

Im a kumho dealer. The AT51 rides really smooth and has a good treadwear rating. The keyword being rating. They are only a few months old. I have a buddy who has about 10k on his and they still look brand new. I sell TONS of them. The rebate is $80.00 runs through October

I agree. But the KL71 was a mud terrain tire. Sort of similar to the new Cooper stt pro. The AT51 is more similar to the old KL78 which it replaced. That was a nice tire too. That firestone wore like iron.

I run them on my LMM. The tires seem to wear great and are AMAZING in the snow. But I'll be going back to my ProComp Xtreme AT's for my next set. You just can't beat their tread wear.

Got em on over the weekend, so far, nothing but good things about em. Granted I am coming from a very old (80k, 4 yr) set of AT3s that were cupping, and all sorts of wacky wear patterns.

Put close to 300 miles on em, most of that being pouring rain and so far, they are great. Have the fronts at 55 and rears at 60. They are quiet and ride very nicely. Hopefully its a snowy winter ahead :D

as it turns out, I stepped in shit last night. Local CL had a brand new set of 4 Hankook RF10's 285/70/17 for $375! My buddy is throwing them on Thursday for a few bucks.

Damn for that price I would buy some 17s just to run them or turn around and sell them for $800

I was so happy, but I did cringe when he said he had 5 sets and these were the last. I would have cleaned him out at that price! Lol. I won't be greedy, lol lol.

Don't ask questions when you don't really want to know the answer.

Just like when my boss bought a pallet of Yeti coolers off a guy for $100 apiece.
