Kory Willis Tunes

Who has a stock lbz with his tunes? I am thinking about trying his stock trans lbz tunes and would like some feedback before spending the money.. I did a search and just got a lot of people saying to try him, no really rhyme or reason to it.

I don't have any stock trans tunes, but you really can't do wrong with Kory. He is an awesome tuner

Well I just made my order. I run duramaxtuner on my pullin truck and if I am happy with these I may switch and have him do the puller too!

You won't be disappointed. I have had his tunes for almost a year, love them. Don't have anything to really compare against, but i love the improved throttle response, quick outta the hole, and the power is seamless through the gears. Just a whole lotta pull. I have a couple vids on YouTube, minor boosted 4 wheel launches on the optimized stock, 90 and 150 tunes. Search Dajokrz.

I'm headed to Calgary for the weekend. Would love to find a dyno for a couple pulls just cause lol

I installed his tunes in a lly and a lmm and both were great. Smooth power. The lmm was a dually and on tune 5 from a 15mph roll broke loose and got a little sideways

I have them on my LMM, the 150 will trash the converter pretty fast though if you go semi-full retard a lot.

With kory tunes 220k stock trans I ran 12.5 in lil white only a 180 tune , then put that tune in my dd w 225k as big tune on dsp5 and drove it and pulled my horse trailers and lil white everywhere for 3 years , finally built trans before Ennis this year , tc was finally shot

Wow, that's good, mine made it 2k miles 14k on the truck, and it started shuttering on the 100 hp tune.

Put wrong year first time lol , looked at dates to make sure is 3 years

Do the 6 speeds ever limp mode or just slip the converter? Is torque converter shudder best explained as the entire truck shaking when it's got a load pullin hills?

Mine has only shuttered once pulling my camper and I was WOT at 85 uphill on my tow tune, I run my 60/100 tunes all the time and once in a while on 4/5. I cant limp it, but it shutters hard at times on the bigger tunes. Yes, it feels like the whole truck is shaking and you'll see a 200-300 rpm spike.

Mine shuddered for a good 6 months before I limped it. Then months went by before I limped it again last week. It had a hard life on the 150 tune with my lead foot. Not bad for almost 200k. Back on stock till trans is built though :/
