Because after 5 weeks sleeping next to the shop, in 10* temps and 5" of snow, it started right up, warmed up like normal and drove like any other day.
This truck truly owes me absolutely nothing. Just another reason I am glad I bought a Duramax. :)

Erin's been with me for 7.5 years and married for a year the end of the month. The fact they put up with us and our habits is one in a million.

My trucks dead as hell... Two bad/frozen batteries and a phantom injector knock I'm to lazy to fix:rofl: Not the trucks fault, just burned out on fixing things, side effect of wrenching for a living...

Our shop truck is an f-550 6.0 powerstroke. The other day it was 33 degrees,it barley started and has to warm up for 10-15 min before it wants to move.

Good old stiction at work haha. I love when we have to cycle heui trucks cold start systems 2 and 3 times before they start even here in Florida. And the 6.0 trucks miss like hell for a while. Yet it was in the 20s the other morning and i didn't even let my glow plugs do their thing. Just hit the key and she's running smooth and quite

I hear that. One of the reasons I quit fixing junk for a living.

Same here quit turning wrenches on cars for asshole customers. Now I turn wrenches(and bang ice) on ski lifts for asshole customers, just don't have to deal with their bullshit. :roflmao:

Yup. I do side work now to fill my itch and manage a mfg plant instead now. After 5 years of turning wrenchs I saw myself going to get burned out quick. I want to be burned out mentally after my day job, then burn myself out physically from my toys.

My truck started right up after 1 week in 5 degree outside temps. But the heated attached 3 car garage is always at 60 degrees...As a aircraft mechanic and supervisor of 20 men I don't turn wrenches much unless I a M on the road

After selling my 2007 gasser 2500HD my 2006 does it all under 3250rpm whereas the gasser 6.0 came to life around 4000rpm and a little stressful at those rpm's at least for me, told the wife the diesel would slow me down, not. Still trying to explain the ticket the officer dropped in speed to about 80mph, otherwise bracelet time, a one day stay free, a hot, or should I say in Maricopa County a Ladmo bag and a very expensive valet parking bill. No regrets on my purchase......
