LSX in anything is a good idea!:D

Mustang, Supra, Nova, RX7, all good.

Several guys have taken single GT4788 on LSXs to over 1k rwhp. That supra has two.:D

Since this is a pretty good thread about turbo import stuff, and we know that Supra's are a bit on the pricey side. I wanted to pick Jeff's brain about a few other turbo imports that aren't Supras but are more affordable.

How good/bad are:

TT Nissan 300zx
TT Mitsu/Dodge 3000GT/Stealth
Mitsu/Dodge Starion/Conquest
Nissan 240sx/Silvia (don't think they ever released a turbo version in the US)

These all seem to be somewhat affordable compared to the Supra, how do they stack up against each other? Keep in mind that most of my import knowledge comes from playing Gran Turismo and watching Fast and Furious movies.

How good/bad are:

TT Nissan 300zx okay cars, can make great power, handle good but suck ass to work on...ask me how i know
TT Mitsu/Dodge 3000GT/Stealth see above, but suck even more ass to work on, no room, shitty cars IMO as they are a FWD car with awd added on...skip this car please.
Mitsu/Dodge Starion/Conquest wish i never got rid of mine, awsome cars, handle great, feel stout, engine are okay, somewhat a pain but not bad to work on, can handle a fair amount of power BUT needs a beeter intake/injector set up as these are throttle bosy injection and they are shitty at best, some guys are swappin in the mitsu eclipse engine (4g63 i think it is)
Nissan 240sx/Silvia (don't think they ever released a turbo version in the US)great cars handel very good, many options out there for engine swaps including the 2jz(supra engine)

see notes in red above :)

so the Starion and the 240sx are the way to go. I like the looks of the late 240sx coupe, not a huge fan of the hatch from earlier. My buddy's dad has a 92 vert 240sx but it might be an auto. I really like the newer Silvia's. Also, how about an r34?:D

working with a guy from canada to import a couple RHD supras and also maybe some R32 skylines(1990 or so), the cars must be 15 years old, or older to import them and get through the cracks easier.

Cool. Let me know if you need any help, CN is pretty close and I'm in Toronto a bunch.

R32 will do;)

the guy i'm doing this with will have to drive them across the border (so he says) since the car will be in his name, apperently it would look as if i "stole" the car if i (or anyone else) tried to cross the border with a car not in thier name..dunno personaly as i have never done it/tried to, nor have i been to canookville.
