Literally!
Not really a joke but funny as hell!

This morning on the way to work,I had to make a sudden stop on a snow packed road...Going about 35mph. Felt a slight bump right after I stopped and assumed it was my towchain sliding up against the box. I pulled up about 10 feet and noticed a Prius with a big "v" in the front end and steaming pretty good...I got out and went to see the dumbass lady driving was OK and she looked like this-... She seemed Ok...
Cops showed up and cited her for following too close and get this, her excuse to the cop was "I thought I could stop faster than that truck!"..What an idiot..Thank God for 8" drop hitches!!!:happy2:

I did the opposite to one on halloween night. I removed her truck for her. I'm not used to stopping at a green light in traffic.

I go to McDonalds about once every couple of months, last month I went a a guy ran right into the back of me while I was in line.

Chalk up another hitch saving the bumper..

I had the same thing happen at McDonalds when I had a Toyota w/ a 6" lift. I keep a drop hitch on just for that reason. My friends say I should take it off and use my MagTec (or however you spell it) as a "ricer slicer."

Nice Kill!!

I had a little Saturn run up under my truck at a red light. I felt the back pick up a little bit. I was thinking "WTF was that"? I looked in the rear view mirror, nothing, looked in the passenger mirrior, nothing. I looked in the driverside mirror and saw a door swing open. Then I got what was going on. She was crying and all that. I looked at the car under my truck and it didn't hit anything, not the bumper, diff, exhaust, NOTHING!!! So I chuckled and called the cops. Once the cops got done ith their paperwork, I pulled the truck down off of her car. I laughed and drove away. Her car had a nice big square scratch i the hood and it was wrinkled up some. It was totally bottomed out from the weight of of the truck too. Kinda funny for me, not for her though.

Anyway, here in Washington, it's illegal to have a hitch in your reciever if you are not towing anything. Talk about a BS law. If I had my hitch in, it would have done a lot more damage to her car and she wouldn't hav been able to drive away. Luckily there was absolutely nothing wrong with my truck, her car only touched my hitch.

Back when i was in high school my dad had a 1990 F-350 cclb with a 460 on 37's. Well i was driving it one day and sitting at a red light had a ford ranger rear end me. Got out and all it did was bend the bracket for the trailer plug in which i just pulled back out. But he had a square punch though half way up his hood:rofl:. I could only imagine if it was a small car and not a small truck. I miss that truck. I should have bought it when he sold it.

This happend to me a couple weeks ago, I was in Tallahasse for the spring game with some friends (I'm a UGA fan) and this kid ran into me with his 4 runner and it had a brushguard on it. I looked in the mirror as I pulled up and saw the brushguard and thought my truck was gonna have some damage... It did, the plastic below the tag had one small scratch in it. My drop hitch folded in the brushguard, busted the radiator, and messed that kids day up. I felt bad for him man, I didn't call the cops, his mom came up there and she was a SUPER B*TCH! I kept telling her it coulda been alot worse, he coulda hit someone who would have sued or something. Evil woman.
