So I noticed the other day my truck took a little longer to start, and it was cranking fine, just wouldn't fire.
I figured it was fuel. well I just got a chance to look around and sure enough my twin kennedy setup isn't running, so I check the fuse, and sure enough it's blown. I check the wiring which is loomed from the pumps to the fuse box, secured etc. I didn't see any issues where it looked like it was rubbed, so I replaced the fuse and this time it didn't blow. Bye the way they were both 10amp fuses.
I crawl under the truck and I can hear something... and of course I smell the electrical smell, but coming out of the bottom of the pump is black material that I assume is a burnt seal and it smelled like bong water... Fuse was still good, but neither pump is running.
Anyone else seen anything like this? and by the way the pumps are over a year old.
