The point is they can be made reliable at that power level and last a long time built properly, it's doing burnouts stupidly that's gonna ruin it.

I broke in my trans doing burnouts, maintaining, service and driving habits will determine how long it lasts. My idea of something lasting forever is like 5 years. But I'm rough on shit.

I have had friends buy duramax's and tell me the only reason they did is because they have witnessed the hell I've put mine through and she's still purring away :thumb: I am honestly surprised the truck has made it this long.

I still don't think anything will take what my LLY did for as long as it did but the miles are climbing on the LMM and my give a **** meter is reading lower and lower, so we shall see.

Truck drives just fine, so you guys are telling me even with over 200,000 miles there wouldn't be any metal. Maybe the picture makes it look worse then it is. I find it hard to believe with this many miles that this wouldn't be a normal amount of material to be found.View attachment 42882
