make sure you burn that stock tune of yours onto a cd and keep it safe and worm. never know when that laptop is going to crap out

Just picked up my software Tuesday from McRat and got a transgo jr installed by Mike L yesterday. Damn money pit...

I have alot of friends & coustomers that have gm gassers that is always asking about tuning is this something i could do if i had the knowledge of how to do it.
I need to feed my yamaha banshee it takes alot of money to keep it running the jugs are at the machine shop now.I cant stand to get outrun so im going bigger & bigger and so on.

I'm scared to get it myself. I downloaded the demo version the other night and SHIT!!!
I was not prepared for all of that stuff. I have no idea what i'm looking at. I even took a look at So Cal's site because there are the directions for the DSP switch programing. There's no way I could do all that. It would be worthless to me unless someone sat down with me and showed me step by step how to do it. I can't read something and then try and do it. I'm really bad with the whole computer stuff. SO........I think i'll just grab a PPE and call it good. I know I can use one of those

I've never taken the time to learn how to use it, but I had my fun with it in the 06LLY. There are folks who will do the tuning for you!
I ran tunes from members here (neens), McRat, and Guy.
PPE was a great tuner too though.

You don't really need to learn it, I am still learnning alot just by reading here on this site and the EFI board, I am havein Pat do a tune for me now, it is very easy to load a tune.
x3 I wanted efilive but I was scared I would mess something up and decided I would get ppe. I'm rethinking my decision & wanting to go w/efilive again. Just wish they had an efilive for dummies.:baby:
