Man sorry to hear about the bad luck. But if that service man would have come out there to me and said it was going to over 7k for head gaskets i probably would have blown my own gasket cussin him.

Hey I feel sorry for yeh, I just went through the same thing with my 04 6.6 LLY at 189000km. 30 hours labour to change both gaskets. Total bill came out to 6500. I think Gm should wake up and smell the coffee they new the gaskets are defective and have not done anything about it.
Got mechanic for 4100, Kid had to pay half about to be back on road in 4 days.. Running this 120hp superchip do i need to be aware of anything in particular..
