Hi, so I have to take my truck to emmisions in april, so I went to my edge insight and touched the efilive off icon. I took it for a drive after, and the smoke output is definetly lower, but the power from the tunes is most definetly still there. Am I missing something that I should know about this? Thanks in advance guys

Did you flash in a stock tune? Turning the EFI option off just turns off your ability to switch tunes with the cts. The tunes are still flashed in your ecm

Loading a stock tune back on the truck may help with emissions, but you will throw a code because your "intake air heater" is deleted.

My CEL is lit anyways due to a glow plug code that Ive had going on now for quite some time.. Luckily the emissions testing facility doesnt care about a Light on! I might have to contact my tuner and see if he can load in a stock tune for the test..

Good deal!
I know with the place I used to live if the CEL light was on it was an instant fail on OBDII vehicles.

When I took my truck in for testing last year, the truck blew a good amount of smoke lol.. But the people that were working at the shop said that "their equipment was faulty" so they gave me the pass. They made me smash on the throttle like 3 times
