Definitely do steels or alcoas, gauges won't hurt either. I mounted my CB in the over head console it's a small cobra and looks good hanging up there.
Put lights on the rack and under the back bumper for night work if you have any.
I'd also recommend getting the one piece aluminum drive shaft if it's compatible with a regular cab shortbed and replace the trans cooler lines with hoses ( a broken trans line clip left me on the side of the road, there three cent parts, I eliminated the problem at hand)
And definitely recommended the air bags in the rear just make sure your leaf springs are up to the task FIRST before you put the bags on other wise the back end will be very very VERY bouncy and all the wieght will be on those bags

GOod lookin rig by the way

I appreciate the input and will def look into all those options!!! I was just wondering where I would put a CB at and that overhead console sounds perfect! Will be looking into a blue tooth device for calls as well but I hate ear piece headsets!! Lol I'm not one to touch my phone when I drive so that's a must! Would love to find someone to trade rims with if I can get a set of steel wheels..

Needing some CB radio ideas!! Have an overhead console but it seems a little small for one!

Far East LA - aka Phoenix
Nice looking tow rig. Was that oldie on Uship looking for a transporter to haul it? I just saw one like it a couple of days ago on there.
I would add the airbags - no lift kit, cb radio with the weather channels, a trucker gps (not the Garmin like I have) (Rand McNally models show the mile markers) with bluetooth to answer your phone with, a Loves, Flying J or Pilot card to rack up points and free showers with, waterproof seat covers, definitely some LED lights on the bed and change your headlight bulbs out for them as well.

Wellll not much has changed besides putting a couple miles on it.. Other then I scheduled my CDL driving test with it just to realize I would need my parking brake to actually work..

Looks like I'll be tackling that this weekend!!

Any tips or tricks to doing the parking brakes on these bastards?!
