Top of the day! 2005 Bought a 2500HD CCLB 6.0 GAS
Great truck drove it for 125K until 6 weeks ago I borrowed my buddies D-Max! WTF? Why have I been wasting time pouring ethanol down my gutless piles neck all this time????

The hunt was on, Portland, Boise, Eugene, Medford, anywhere I saw a D-Max for sale. Ended up asking a guy fuelin at the corner gas station if he wanted to sell his truck and 10 days later we make a deal! Suit and tie kinda guy I mean hey it still has the 245's on it!:rofl: Thing is like a virgin with 28K. Gun metal grey. I have had it one week and debadged it, pulled the bumpers off sandblasted them and the Bully Bars and had the truck Line-X'd from above the door molding down including front valance, front and rear bumpers (I know they are POS but what I got for now) and the bars. Tinted the fronts yesterday. Waiting till Friday to pick the bumpers and bars up and get them back on. Do alot of driving for work with a 300 mile round trip 8 times a month over 6000' pass plus round town crap so don't plan on any big lifts but would definatly like to level the thing, throw some 285's on it, EGR block, Intake, Exhaust, some minor tune stuff. Bout it for now just hate "hidin under the bridge"

Spent alot of time up there in Bend . And yes Subman is very close to you . owner of a few very fast set of trucks .

There is a guy in Bend there bulding him a motor over by paradigm auto body . Good local diesel shop to you there at end of building to body shop . The owners name is Bennett . Cant remember the name . Right next to Suspension Specialties . If you go into the suspension shop tell Scott owner , Johnny said he is a big OX . He'll undrstand and a good guy for lifts and truck stuff local there to you .

Been friends for a long time .

The auto body shop at other end of building there helped me finish the kodiak also. Really good peeps there too . Donny there did it all there and made my little box in the middle of bed .

Johnny thanks for the info. That building is 1/2 mile from my office! I will stop by and say hi for sure.

Don't know what is up with Paridigm though I just saw a "building for lease" sign go up recently. Hopefully not another victim of the economy...

Welcome to Central Oregon, hope you are enjoying the snow. Where do you work? And what pass is 6000 feet you have to cross? The shop Johnny is refering to is Performance Authority. I had a lot of work done there. They just completed an engine build for me for my 06 ec/sb I just finished. They are good people and will treat you fair. Suspension specialities has moved. They are no longer in the same building. they are in a building where the overpass goes to Sisters on Hwy 20? You take 97 north and turn right at the U-Haul place go one block and turn right again and follow the signs. It's a bit hard to find, but Scott is a good guy and will also treat you fair. I wouldn't waste my time at Paradigm, they are under new management and fired the good guy they had. Building sold and I doubt they will be in business much longer. Have another good little shop called Performance Authority, it is a small shop out in Powell Butte, Dave Grindstaff owns it and does performace add ons, tuners, gauges, exhaust, intakes that sort of thing. He is very good and very anal about what he does. It has to please him, and I will guarentee his standards are higher than your own. Anyway, welcome and again, where is this 6000 foot pass you cross to work within 150 of Bend, that's new one on me. But I've only been here since 1944.:D

Suspension Specialties is no longer in the same building complex as Paradigm Auto Body. They moved over near Big Country RV last year. I remember you had your dyno in the Suspension Specialties shop at one time. I had the charcoal crew cab and dynoed soon after you got the dyno set up.


Bennett owns Performance Authority. He has a good reputation and seems to still do a lot of business.
Lots of stuff has closed/moved/merged in the last 2 years.
