Anyone ever put a quart or so of JP-8 in the truck as additive? I know it's basically a high grade diesel so was curious if it would work as a additive or if it would just blow the seals out of everything.

I wouldn't run JP-8 as an additive, as I don't believe it has any better lubrication than diesel (maybe worse). If you get JP-8 cheap, you could run it as cheap fuel, but add some two stroke oil or a diesel-specific additive while you do.

When in doubt, mixing two-stroke oil at 500:1 to 1000:1 is cheap and has always worked great for me. For my 25 gallon tank, I put in about 5 oz (640:1) of two stroke oil.

Agree with Schulte... JP8 is a piss poor diesel alternative. Has way less lubrication and is closer to Kerosene than to Diesel... Definitely have to add plenty of additives if you had to run it.
