Once I had it sitting on blocks on the trailer I told him you figure it out. I was just saying he was so cocky and arrogant when I was doing all the work, but when he had to he did not know what to do. Also he claimed he has been heavy hauling for 28 years but he looked about late 30's- early 40's:rofl:

I don't think playing with Tonka trucks constitutes "heavy hauling":happy2:expirence!

I have a lot of respect for MOST truck drivers. My dad is a contractor, so I learned how to tow a lot with a 1 ton, but the most I ever grossed was a total truck and trailer weight of 28k and I know that cuz I was hauling an old truck off to the scrapyard. I had the load on a 35' gooseneck, and the brakes were overloading and not working right. I was a nervous wreck, and the truck was a 1 ton 454 with an auto tranny, so I know I would suck as a trucker. There are some crazy lazy yayhoos out there behind the big wheels tho. I am just glad this story involved demolishing a JD and not a Case IH. :roflmao: BTW who's pocket is all this coming out of? The trucking co. have insurance?

Yes they are paying for the damage and the repairs, but we had to buy the combine back and also reimburse for trucking expenses. I believe the total is around 63 grand now!

I don't know that I would pay for the expenses of hauling it back to you. After all, had the guy not screwed up, he wouldn't have had to haul it back in the first place.
