On one of the other forums that have the dmax quick 50 list someone with the screen name of King d said he thought that soon a vehicle with a stock dmax engine would be very high on the list. Turns out it is Jess Spruill and he sent me some pictures of he and Buck's new toy. It weighs 2500 lbs with Jess in it and the 06 lbz engine is bone stock with a couple of no name parallel turbos on it. He says they'll run an Allsion behind it for now and probably keep it in the 600 hp range. It look pretty darn cool if you ask me. At 600 hp and 2500 lbs it should get pretty close to the top of the list.

Is that Cole's dragster ???? We heard all about it years ago, I figure if he needed to sell it he might as well sell it to someone who will actually run it.

On a more serious note, congrats Buck and Jess, I hope to see it in person and make one of the events you guys put in in NC this spring/summer.

it still has some work to be done. we purchased this altered from a local guy,who was ready to move on from the build.Jeff Hathaway is his name. jeff did a fantastic job on the ride.it still needs some neating up on the wires, and brake work.need to put a different gear in it,way to low. waiting for a transbrake from Ron at Suncoast then we are gonna take to the track and see what the stock tranny will hold. as far as nos it may get a wiff or 2 ,just have to see if the chargers flow enough.

the altered will be at OBX tnt and we plan to let event sponsors who are competent take a fun pass...(shameless plug for sponsorship)
as far as dual fuelers and rods and the list that goes on and on,i may happen but the plan is to just put a tranny in it and run it.this will be our fun car. more to come...

I got a question.... How does one know if the turbos are flowing equal amount/lbs of air into each bank?? With no common plenum, is it a pain to tune?? Would a common plenum or intake cause pulsing problems with each turbo??

I have no idea about any of that, so I'm asking for my own edification.....

Car looks awesome, can't wait to see it run. :coolspot:

car hasnt been on a track or had a tune installed yet.so some of your questions i just cant answer.there is a connecting hose from the back of each plenum that connects each other.is this enough or will a mod to the setup be needed,we wont know until we hit the track.
