Thanks to Luis, Joe and the rest of the PPE crew, they fired up Casper just now as an LBZ. Also thanks to Robert, Johnny, and Jason for their help getting the engine in. Exactly 7 days down to the hour from LLY to LBZ.

Congrats Pat and all involved :happy2:
Is it correct for me to assume you changed to lbz, because needing the 6 speed and that there doesnt seem to be a reliable conversion from 5 to 6 speed ???

Luis and Joe are still working on the Tap Shift, which will be hooked up to the volume button on the steering wheel radio control. This way I don't have to pull my hands off the steering wheel to shift.

We tried the Suncoast 6-sp system, and found it was no good for racing. You can't alter shift points, no tap shifting, you can't datalog it, and it hides trouble codes. For towing, it's probably fine, but you really don't a sixth gear for towing.
