Im right in the middle of installing a MA pump rub plate and i ran into this debris in what looks like the pump pickup. It looks like rtv or something of that nature. My snap ring pliers broke when trying to remove the snap ring to get the bearing off so i havent got to the pump yet. Does this need to be cleaned out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
