LB7: is my oil pressure low?

after it warms up it goes down to a notch below 20 i guess that first bold mark on the gauge is..just wondering what everyone elses is?

If you mean at warm idle....I think that sounds right, mine stays at the 1/4 mark or a notch above...runs a notch above 60psi in its cruising range when at normal operating temp.

Something that helped with the fluctuation in mine was switching to the JD+50 oil.

Looking at my gauge today, I believe the 1/4 mark is to represent 30 psi...

I use a digital gauge and it shows oil psi, at hot idle its like 18psi. Its been like that ever since I bought the truck, even before the syn. switch. over.

I idle hot in gear just below 20 also . Truck has always ben here since new and I run 15/40 delo .
