ok thanks! so when i switch tunes the voltage should change right? thats how ill know its working?
Also did the little LED on the switch body light when the little micro switch was pushed??? (Installation check)
Did you install the dsp5? There is a very small mico switch and LED light on the switch body. It will not light unless the switch is pinned into the ECM correctly.
It is on the body of the switch and cannot be seen with the switch in the dash.

yeah i installed it but i didnt look for the led. will it be lit all the time or just when the truck is running
I am looking for my install directions I will post what I am talking about if I can find them..

Oh the LED itself is a little micro switch it has to be pushed to light and I think it is just key on.
