Target had a similar model for a good price. $299 IIRC, I thought about getting it just for tuning.

It will be cool and easier for tuning, etc..

Funny you posted this now Kat! I was at Best Buy this weekend and they have 2 micro laptops like that for 280ish and one with a decent bit more Bits for 350ish and i thought to my self...that might make a bad ass little tuning computer! Dont think ethier were Acer's but same tiny size. If it will do it, im gettin one! Its tiny, light and cheap. Its not so small i cant see, if i bust it...oh well, its not a $1200 machine, it would mount up in the truck great and i can keep it for a dedicated tuner lappy! Please let us know how it goes! Even though the screen is small it is easy read it has a high resolution and is a LCD

seen the same thing at Wal-Mart the other night. Would like to get it to permanently mount in the truck for EFI Live and GPS. Hmmm.

Here's my thinking:

WinXP preloaded. Vista Sucks for tuning.

3 USB ports.

7 hr life with the optional 6 cell battery. 3 hrs standard battery.

No DVD drive to pop open.

Very sturdy.

SD card readers (two).

Small enough to sit on center console without falling.

Camera built in to take track shots. (Could I datalog + video the run?)

My Sony ($2000) busted the screen Sunday. They wanted $700 to fix it. I could buy two of these for that price, and the HDD is bigger.
