You save $80 by buying this Ebay kit instead of direct from SUNCOAST, so your not getting a huge savings.
see if this is the case, i will gladly buy it directly from suncoast for $80 more, but everywhere else i looked the price was 2,4-2,500.00, so back to what i said a few post back, paying $1k more just so i can call them? im all for a slight mark up to keep the lights on and all but jacking the price up a thousand dollars just so the coustomer can call seams a bit much to me?

In won't be the last time we hear from him gays.....;)

Are you positive your 1500 dollar eBay suncoast kit comes with everything you need?

no i am not sure if it did or did not come with everything thats why i was asking on here if it did, but then "AubleAK" comented and said that he took the gamble with the same ebay kit and it did come with everthing needed minus the bearings and converter.

This is a big problem I see with the current way people do business. A person's knowledge/expertise and customer service is worth nothing. It's all about the bottom line. This is ultimately where our current shift from a manufacturing society to a consumer society came from. If everyone goes by the bottom line, quality shops and businesses will go the way of the Dodo bird and we are stuck with uneducated consumers and manufacturers.

It costs money to attain knowledge, be it formal training or trashed parts through experimentation.

If I'm going to use someone's expertise and knowledge to benefit, I expect to pay for it. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

I'm a cheap bastard, and will be the first to tell anyone that fact, but there are times where I understand the need for knowledge/expertise as well as quality work.

Most likely because you are pricing kits with converters in them whereas this kit does not come with a converter. Suncoast list teh GMAX 5-3 on there site for $1645, but like this kit you still have to buy a converter. Add in a converter for$1100 and all of the sudden this ebay kit costs just what the others cost, or more.

That's exactly it and the problem individuals come here drain the members and vendors of their knowledge now once armed with all the free knowledge go out to the EBay whores and buy with a bottom line and forget where the knowledge came from. Then at times after they saved their hundred bucks want to know why this is doing that and if it's normal or how to install the kit.

So yes this is agree exchange of information. Quality information ,information that isn't worth supporting so it can continue to exist apparently so it seems. Some will just never get it

and that is why i have said, if their is a vendor on here that can come close to that price then i am all for buying it from them and suppoorting them. i plan on running one of phil taylors converts anyways so i dont need one included
