Just looking at a 2011 lml with 86k miles. It runs good. The throttle seems sluggish but when it comes alive it really moves. Heard stories about the DEF systems causing issues. Just wondering if I should sell my lb7 and upgrade.

I really like my LML, the sluggish pedal known as "dead pedal" is the way they all are from the factory. Some tuning can get rid of most of that. Mine has 64k on it and it has only been in the dealer once for a ECM update for the DEF system. Otherwise just regular maint.

I love my 2015 LML. Hell of a rig and runs very will with some tuning. Too heavy to be what I would call fast but it's fun to drive and very comfortable.

I appreciate all the comments and suggestions. We will see what happens. Gonna look it over real good for problems. Just worried to buy a problem truck at these prices.

I'm a Cummins guy but i wanted something different for once.. Bought my first Duramax (15' LML) and it is without a doubt an all around better truck than my Ram. The cummins is a good solid engine but the rest of the truck is shined up junk. Regardless of what you buy the emissions is your killer when it comes to reliability from my experience. My 15' was deleted with less than 200 miles on it.

Well I bought the 2011 lml with 86k miles. So far I love it. I was wondering what upgrades are a must to prevent the emissions stuff from destroying the engine over time. I have heard a new down pipe and exhaust is good since some are having issues with the down pipe causing a smell in the cab. Just worried about the egr causing a build up in the engine. I want this teuck to last like my LB7 did for 271k miles.
