How can it help the truck. Depends if you have a Remote Start made by Directed Electronics like a Viper Or Python then you can use your phone to remote start your truck, lock/unlock doors.

Pretty badass if you ask me.

Be careful about plugging in your ipod/iphone into another persons computer. If they have it set to automatically sync you could lose all the things stored on your phone. Stick with the main computer that you set it up with.

Looks like you need to add something to the truck to make the viper work with the iPhone.

Yea, have to have the smart start addon. By adding that and the start system, it gets into a lot of $$$$.

You'll need the "Smart Start" add on box I believe to make it work with the iPhone.

Have to look for that since the plant block the pager from viper some way. Old plant it worked anywere at this one I have to be almost outside or close to a window or door way. But phone work fine atleat AT&T and nextel verizon sucks there.
