Finally got the truck back this last Friday. I put about 350 miles on it over the weekend, so far so good. Still working through some minor things that I’ve been meaning to do, but we’re getting there!

Update;

Truck is back at the shop getting diagnosed for range shift inhibited issues. Trans has been shifting nice through the gears, but it’s had difficulty shifting into drive.

Took the time to order a new intercooler to remedy a suspected boost leak - I was only making 35-40 psi. Currently has the original intercoooler in it and to the best of my ability I narrowed it down to a cracked intercooler during troubleshooting.

Installed a Kennedy boost/drive combo gauge.

Made some suspension and steering changes to get this truck to launch better. Lowered it down further with lowering keys, Rancho 9000XLs, Cognito adjustable straps, Dmaxstore XD tie rods, and I went back to a factory centerlink. Also removed the overloads mainly for the ride quality and ride height - not sure the effect it has with the operation of Caltracs.

Picked up a set of Moto Metal 951s with 30x14 M&H cheater slicks. Will be saving 37 lbs per corner. Hoping to be at 6600lbs race weight.

cant wait to see how it hooks up with the radials... I am so suprised you still have that lift kit on lol

Slicks! But yes me too! Not sure what to expect other than good results if used correctly.

What can I say, I like the leveled front end look but it goes without saying a leveling kit would be a disaster haha.
