4L80E with shift kit
6.5L turbo diesel engine, newer 506 block, newer heads about 60k on a rebuild
Cummins HX-35W turbocharger rear mounted, 40 mm External Wastegate, 3-4 psi cruise, 8-12 half throttle, WOT about 18 psi.
Air to air intercooled
120 gph lift pump
Racor 2 micron 90 gph fuel filter
RcI fuel cell
Weight reduction
HO Water Pump, Dual thermostats
Electric Fans
Large Oil and Trans Cooler
hO injection Pump
4 point roll bar by me
Full Rear suspension, need a 12 bolt though

That's neaet n all but I REALLY hope they didn't ditch an LT1 or LS1 for that particular diesel. I'll just assume it used to be a V6. I'll feel better about it then.


However, I bet it gets great fuel mileage!

I have a side project I am working on. The car started as a 1994 Camaro V6 car, no options, drum rears, nothing special. Got a donor engine from a Chevrolet truck with a 6.5L turbo diesel/4L80E drivetrain. just about near completion. Test drive within a month.

This is how is sits as of today.

Yeah the guy has done one hell of a job on it. Why he picked a 6.5 I will never know. But it is very cool none the less.
