I have been having an intermittent issue with my truck starting. I have a CC/SB 08 GMC. I bought it used, recent purchase, and it has a few different mods that I'm aware of. The batteries appear to be the factory originals.
So far, in the 3 weeks I've owned the vehicle, it has randomly died after being shut off. The first time I drove it to work no issue and parked outside. I then moved it inside after a few hours to clean it out. I left it parked inside about 3-4 hours and it died. No I didn't leave anything on, it just died. I didn't think anything of it, jumped it and went on my way. I haven't had an issue for about 2 weeks. Today I drove to work again and parked outside. When I went to go run an errand 2 hours after parking it, the dam thing was dead again.
I don't think it's the batteries, and here is why. Sometimes when I turn the key everything boots up including the radio, it just won't turn over. Other times when I turn the key it acts like it has no juice. There isn't consistency. If it were the batteries would it really go almost 2 weeks before there being an issue again?
I appreciate any assistance with this.
