I've been having crappy luck with dynos.
I need to research a new dyno facility to use.
Stay away from the Sand Candy portable dyno. The one from RedLine wasn't very good last weekend. not

used wrong smilie at the end my bad. It wasn't very good low numbers, couldn't get the trucks to come up on boost and when I asked them about using a tach signal..... there response "what are those, I've heard about them but never used them" lol. No fan for the truck either, just a big ass fan to blow smoke away from the tailpipe. They weren't able to keep the truck in gear either, the operator would just mash it like at 1500 rpms

How did their dyno day go? We aren't allowed to attend.

like jason posted the dyno sucked it would not alow the truck to build boost past 30 psi. i dont think they could load the truck enough to get it to spool. they guy kep blabing he could load the dyno enough to break my truck. i think it was more like he was afraid i would break his dyno 75$ for 3 runs well i got 6 but all in all it was a waist of time and fuel. truck made 565 /1,040 at 30 psi wich at the 38+ it normally makes would of been well into the 600 range where it should of been. I belive still with the low numbers i had the most power at the event i dont think any one topped me. I think the vvt trucks did better but im sure not to there full potential ether. I thin the highest was 485 or something like that
I think it was more of RBP then Redline, all the banners and flyer's said RBP dyno. During the time we were there, there was only about 5 trucks that ran on the dyno including Tommy's. Not sure how many more trucks showed up later.
