I am looking at doing 3 in piping and modifying the Y bridge to all 3 in. I am looking at MBRP piping, but I have read that they well not work on the stock Y bridge on my truck(because it is a 2001). Any one have anything that is used that they want to sell or any suggestion on what to get.

It is on any lb7 I was just stating the 01 bridge is different and the boot is different if you had a custom bridge made you could possibly need a different boot 02 03 04 take a straight boot. You will want to get rid of the intercooler 45 boot and the sweeping 90 boot off the charger to the hot side pipe if you haven't yet boots that make bends don't play well with bigger boost it will sound like a grenade when it blows out......mine did

Ah okay, that helps, thanks. Ya I noticed the hot side boot and mine is definitely soft. So I probably need to correct that soon.

We could also help out if you would like, I can post a few pictures of our custom bridges next to the stock bridge. PM me and we can get you set right up! :thumb:

Anyone ever cut the reduction off the cold side pipe on an lb7 and ran a longer 45 boot?
