What should my intake temp be at idle and running? I just seen at idle 100 degrees? Have a bullydog tuner. Idle I guess it varies from 40's to 60's

And also it's a 2005 lly, the egr will kick on and then muffle out sound for a second then go back? I bought it in the winter so I don't know how she runs in the warm weather. It's 70 degree out here in northern Michigan, thank you everyone!

LLYs have the smallest turbo mouthpiece for the turbo I wouldnt be surprised if you see 120* plus. Here in az I see 160s in the summer.

I'm unaware of any temp sensor that is post turbo on the LB7 and LLY. Where are you getting a temp reading other than from the MAF sensor?

Stock LLY intake temp will get to around 160-170F (ambient plus 50) in AZ during regular traffic stops in the summer. We have had it as high as 232F when towing hard. A nasty issue, the fan creates the underhood heat increase that exploits the poor airbox design. When this happens there are very bad longevity consequences, including oil breakdown, head gasket failure, turbo failure, extreme power loss, etc.
