I just bought S and B intake. The only way to properly fit mass air flow sensor is backwards. The block included in my kit places the mass air flow sensor to a point where it won’t bolt up. Anyone and this issue? I have tried every orientation possible. There is a problem with the tube. As shown in picture. Do I need to do some slight trimming? I know I can make it fit with some slight trimming.

Also if I flip it around then it all bolts up but throws a code for the mass air flow sensor because it is backwards.
So I must not be the only one. Another guy told me I did it wrong but I know I am doing it right but the plastic piece isn’t trimmed enough.
Just finished trimming it and truck runs like a dream! Not much noticeable difference. Turbo noise, little response that’s all. But it was about time for me to change the filter anyway so I can’t say if it’s the I take or just a fresh filter. Got a few hours to drive Saturday so I am gonna set the trip and see if I see any difference
