Intake heater delete

I am putting a heater delete on my LMM

What parameters need to be changed in EFi live so I dont get a CEL

Also, I live in Michigan.....should I put the heater back in during the winter months or will it be ok without?

Some guys say they ran all winter without and had no issues. I think it would just take a little longer to warm up myself.

As for parameters I'm not sure but I would guess turn all the codes related to anything intake heater off and you should be good.

Doesn't take any longer to warm up with out it. My truck was parked for 5 days with 1 battery and -11 wind chill and fired right up. I would have to look at the old tune to see what cells I turned off when we deleted the egr and all.

LMM just turn the codes off.

make sure you remove the wiring and tape up ends real good. the sensors are not ECM controlled, they are in the Heater itself.

IIRC, there is only 2 you need to shut down. :thumb:

If you got a code right away at least you know which one to turn off.
