This is a van bridge stock not modded
http://creaturesofthenightperformance.com/LBZ-Van-Bridge-P284654.aspx

SO this will bolt up to normal LBZ runners or do you need van runners?

Does it bolt to the runner approx the same place as a lb7 or is it further forward?

I really dont like the lbz or LLY stock Y bridge but the runners are bigger Soooo... I need it:D

Simon yes once you mod this th esame as you did yours it will bolt to the lbz runners.

Welding, R&D, time and profit!! Lots of guys would rather pay to just bolt stuff on then spend time to monkey with something that might not work. Sometimes, time is a factor and money becomes no object.

I understand.
now that I know the cost of the van piece, i might just buy that, and have my work weld the aluminum. at 80/hr, i can still be way under what PPE wants.

FWIW I have LBZ intake runners on my truck and bought an LBZ van Y bridge, cut the eintire neck off and cut the hole in the top out to 3" then welded 3" aluminum tubing into it. I had to square up the tube some at the bottom because there isn't quite 3" to work with on the Y-bridge, then fitting the 3" tube past the S400 race cover was fun, but a couple dents fixed that.

what if you cut the bottom of the 3" tubing at a slight angle and welded it so the tubing was more forward in the valley and allowed easier access to the compressor cover

Mine is a 3.25" allum pipe tigged onto the lb7 and then mounted with a S400 there isnt alot of room but there is still a little bit,No hammer needed:confused: Why did you have to dent it? Is it different on a LLY? Or no turbo riser?

I have an RDL pedestal that sits as high as the ATS pedistal. I could have spaced it a little higher to avoid denting the tubing but we were in a crunch to get it done for the OBX event. Does your turbo have a 5.5" inlet? Mine does so maybe that's the difference?

Mine is 5" So that should mean I will be fine:) How high is the spacer?
Ive never seen a ATS spacer so I dunno?

The van piece has the inlet coming out the top while the truck piece has the inlet going in the front. Depending on how you route your intake tract to the turbo the van piece can make things much easier. Both pics were taken from links already in this thread;)
