Installed: Cognito Stage 4 level

I still need to get my alignment done so I haven't driven the truck much but it rides great. Not as soft as the rancho shocks but not too firm. A message saying that stabilitrack is disabled won't go away but both sensors up front have a good connection. Any idea why the message is coming on now?

Most of the time it's because when the ABS sensor plug is dis connected, the person pulls from the wire not the plug. Make sure the pins inside the plug are seated correctly and clear the code with a scanner. Nice shock selection

Also check the rear abs sensors.. I had one I did that I left off. Luckily we have a scan tool and I found it pretty quick.

Thanks for the tips fellas. I'll see if I can get it cleared up tomorrow. Bmf's are nice but I would have to find some good bumpers that I could color match first. I haven't seen any front bumpers yet that aren't too boxy.

What's the tire size? You'll be able to fit a 33x11.50, 9" wheel with 5.0-5.5 BS without trimming. Who did you end up getting the package from?

Tires are 275 70 18 Nitto Trails. No rubbing and plenty of wheel travel. A local place called Complete Customs just started carrying Cognito so I went with them. Which BS would stick out the least? I'm not too familiar with BS.

Are those cv angles as bad as they look? If they are, I would let her down a couple of cranks and get it re-aligned.

I didn't have my new tires on in the first picture but I hadn't even paid attention. The

angle does seem a little steep. What do you think?

thats not "4wd launch" worthy but they are not horrible. a cranked front end is always going to have a cv angle like that or a bit worse. long as you still have down travel left in your suspension and know you cant go doing 4wd launches and crap like that as it sits, your just fine. ive wheeled with CV angles just as bad as that without issue though

I don't ever launch it in 4wd. I only use 4wd if the roads are icy or if the lease roads are extremely tore up. I can usually make it just fine without. I do drive most of the time on rutted out, washboard caliche roads. Do you think it'll still be fine? I've got plenty of down travel the way it sits but if the bad roads are going to cause problems then I'll lower it a bit.

They aren't as bad as they looked in the first pics. My farm truck cv's (see's 4wd daily) are just a little more level, but not much, and it's done fine.

Well that's good to hear guys. I was beginning to worry but I'll let it sit this way until my next set of days off. Too bad I didn't check before I got an alignment. My wife hates when I don't get stuff done right the first time haha.

My cvs are worse and I can 4x4 launch with tie rod sleeves…it pulls me around a bit though. :woott: Nice lift, hope to be doing mine in the near future. Truck looks great!:thumb:
