LLY: injectors, what do you do?

Are they simple enough to do solo first time? I'd like to do the work..as long as I don't destroy them in the process:D


Yes they are easy. Pull injectors, place in vise, remove nozzle and needle, MAIN PART DO NOT LOSE PUCK!!! VERY SMALL!!) when pulling needle and nozzle off body do it slowly and make sure you don't lose that puck, other than that keep a clean area, when reinstalling torque to 55 pounds. The end

I had a plastic plug from a 4" exhuast packaging that I drilled a hole inand slide it down the injector first, then do all the work. If the puck falls, the cap will catch it. I'll post a pic later

I know how to swap tips, I was more asking if anybody had Exergy do just the tips and what results were.

As far as spray pattern and pricision they would be the best at tip work. But you'll still have unmatched set when you put them on the bodies. I wouldn't be scared to do that on low mileage ones for a street truck.
