So recently I have been noticing some fuel on the ground under the truck, now I'm not sure of where it is coming from but that is not my main concern. the problems that are concerning me is that is it possible for the injectors to make oil, without hazing and having high balance rates. i don't have either, but feel like I'm making oil. i think the dip stick smells like fuel when i pull it. i changed the oil only ~200 miles ago, and the oil looks pretty darn clear to me, and is high on the dip stick, even with the back of the truck sitting lower than the front. I'm honestly upset this had to happen now, as I'm at college and won't be able to fix the thing until summer hits and am back home. thanks in advance for the help. :thumb:

First look for where the fuel is leaking from. Keep a close eye on the level if it keeps going up then you're making oil. Put a drop of your oil onto a paper towel and see if it forms a clear ring around the oil.

If you're making oil chances are you have a cracked injector body. Or a leaking return.

You can limp like this for quite some time. Just switch to cheap oil and change it often.

So I did the paper towel test. I'm not sure but to me it looks as if this has some fuel in it. I did only change the oil 200 miles ago with conventional oil.
