thanks, lots of good information in that! so let me make sure, if an injector returns more than 18ml over a 30 sec time interval it needs to be replaced? and that 30 second cranking time is actually cranking or running either one??

The GM spec is 4 ML in 15 seconds of cranking. 18ML would be a JUNK injector. And don't forget to also check the return of the CP3 to make sure it isn't failing.

I had two that were returning 6 ml and I replaced them, still having the 0087 code. what is the return spec for the cp3?

Ok thanks could you clarify if this needs to be done by cranking the starter over and no starting it. If so what do I unplug to keep the engine from starting??
