injector re-assembly

I had the #1 injector stuck open so I took it apart and cleaned it...I was watching very close to see the order that the parts came out...In the injector body there was a spring and a spacer that I dont know what order they go back in....spacer then spring or spring then spacer....Thanks for the help...I am not meaning the shim that goes below the needle....

Thats funny I would have bet spacer then spring...But I dont know

AFAIK, neither GM or Bosch provides a schematic for injectors bodies. Or at least not one I can find.

Wicked Diesel might be able to help, he knows a lot of stuff about Bosch parts.

Might have to pull another & carefully disassemble it to make sure you get the other back together in the correct order.

Just for anyone else that runs into this.....I pulled apart an old lly injector that I had and I hope that they are they same as the lbz...the spacer went in first followed by the spring....

does any one know the torque figure on the solenoid screw cap ?
