Whats a normal reading for balance rates on injectors? My trucks not startin the easiest now days. My buddy put his snap-on scanner on tonight and we found #3 injector was reading -1.0 to as low as -1.8 Does this me its bad? The other were all fairly close to 0.0 to 1.0 Any help or info would be great! Any dummy tips on how to check them with my efi an laptop? Thanks all!!!

Warm up the truck and on a stock tune at idle,+4 or -4 in park, or +6 or-6 in drive with foot on the brake. As long as you are within those parameters you are fine.

I'd look at more simple things, like batteries, filter heads, and other small things first.

-1.0 and 1.8 are still good balance rates and nothing to be concerned about whatsoever.

He also said its crankin over with 7psi. Said somin about it needin 10 psi to be able to start?
Supply pressure or rail pressures minus some 0's? A Duramax does not need any supply pressure to start or run. But if you do not have a lift pump it will air lock easily. May try pumping the hand primer on filter head. But if you are only getting 700psi of rail pressure during cranking it will not start. Needs at least 1200psi to start and run I believe. If that is the case you need to do a return test on the cp3 pump and injectors.

When it runs there is no smoke. None at idle warm or cold. It is throwin a P1093 low rail pressure code too. I forgot to post that last night.

Rail pressure at idle on stock tune was around 5200 psi. It was averaging around 19,755.63 I seen the desired amount but really dont remember it now. Pulse width was all the same. Idle it stayed around 53,000 to 55,000.
