LLY: injector prob

need some help with lly injectors. the delership i bought the truck from told me o well not are prob. 151000 miles

was wondering if i could just replace Injector Nozzle. or the whole injector. gray smoke when idling, rough idle. hard start, the only thing done to the truck is i stright piped it.....

Balance rates don't tell the whole story.

The nozzles aren't usually what goes bad.

If you need new injectors, you need new injectors.

Its LLY, so its one or two more than likely not all! Folks here are gonna need more hard data, other than that check the basics, Air,fuel,wiring!

thanks ill get more data tomorrow night and see what the data says
air and fuel filters are almost new and already fixed the wiring that rubs on the bracket. going to try ice pick trick in the am......

YaYaYa about the filters did you also look at a good size fuel sample too?

no i just pulled it and put new one on. it was about a month ago i changed them. no data the place i was going to go to wanted $95 to check them and i didnt think that 20 mins was worth 95 bucks. going to see if a buddy cando it tommorrow night after he gets off work.

#5 injector was dead. repalced it and runs good now, thanks every buddy

I would highly recamand outting on a fass pump with filters. To help prolong the injectors.
