Injector Cleaner/Top End Cleaner

Went to buy some GM injector cleaner to run through a truck, AC Delco #x66P 88861803, but they said it was discontinued and here’s the new part #19355198 which just says it’s Top Engine Cleaner. Has anyone just used the top engine cleaner to run through and had the same good results as it’s previous part number?

from what i gather, it was changed to match Cali crap. in other words, low VOC solevints used and so on. i dont know if id use it but if you have injectors that are border line dieing, you dont have much to loose. worse its going to do is kill the injectors you already have dieing. best its going to do is clean them out and it runs better.

I believe BMW sells the same stuff, if not I still have one bottle of the X66P, that I’ve been hanging onto in case I need it.

Has anyone found a new version of X66P? Anyone have something else they've had good success with as injector cleaner?

I tried E85 with some 2 stroke on my LB7 back when it was having a little injector issues. Worked amazingly well. Smoked white really bad and idled rough but when I was done it was much smoother and seemed to rev up quicker with less smoke

I don't recommend it though but worked for me

BMW part number 82140428376 is said to be the same as the ACDelco stuff
