Looking at an industrial injection pump 42 or 85% anyone have any experience with them? I cant find much info. I know exergy would be better but I cant afford one right now but found a good deal on an industrial one.
What's your reason for replacing the pump? Do you have specific goals in mind? I'd really suggest getting a Exergy Sportsman pump, just how cheap are you going to get one of the II pumps for?
You're taking your chance with II products. There's a good reason why you'll read so many positive reviews of Exergy and Fleece products. It's your money, all I can do is tell you what I would do in your situation.
At this point I think most forum users are decently informed and Exergy is the gold standard. When it comes to injection systems people just don't want to take any chances because of the costs involved with a failure.
My friend has a set off Exergy injectors on his LLY but they were used when he got them and well let's say the previous owner was running hot on them and so is the my friend and he hasn't had any issues and they have about 100k combined mileage and just paired up with a Danville turbo and one of marks tunes and are holding up great.
I picked up a lightly used exergy sportsman from a member here for 720 a few months ago. He had 3 of them and may still have them. I'd check into that. Nobody I have talked to has good opinions about Industrial fuel system components for duramaxs.
