Well, I changed number one out with a reman from socal diesel and the balance rate is better for that cylinder but not great (~2.6) IMO for a new injector. Now it looks like number 7 is taking a crap too. I spoke to socal diesel about and he suggested doing a compression check and check valve lash and make sure they are in tolerance. After that conversation I have been noticing how noisy the valves are so I am sure if nothing else it will quiet it down a bit.
