I was just giving the guy some advice I would have loved to have gotten before my bad experience.
Just cause one truck seems to have shit luck doesn't mean that all duramaxes are that way. I've been through 2 of them now and neither gave me any problems other than the shit I had to fix because I abused it.
Like Ben said in another thread, sounds like you were looking for a reason to dislike the truck. Still not sure why you bothered with an 09 if you dislike them so much:screwy:

I'm no mind-reader but it sounds like you got WAY over your head and out of your league. Ya might want to eat some crow and take a different approach the next time you have a problem, as you WILL have another.
So, let me give you some advice....
#1. If you don't know what you're doing, STOP before you ftruck-up.
#2. If you want help don't act like you know what you are doing, stay stupid and let those that offer (good) help do so. When they feel better you'll get more out of them.
#3 If war was started on the bridge, don't burn it as you may need it again.
....and just for giggles, I've had 4 of those "Cummins" trucks, 3 5.9's and one 6.7. They an't the be-all to end all. And those injectors and electric things that control them you keep bitch'n about on your GM --> DODGE runs the same chit but WORSE!

omg...I bought a duramax truck and I broke it because I dont have a freaking clue about trucks. Then When I went to fix it I had trouble doing so because I never learned how to read or take direction from anyone that actually knew what they were talking about, so instead I will blame the people around me and the truck for my mistakes because life is so much easier if you have someone to blame. When I become a teenager, I may start taking some blame but I doubt it because my poor childhood life I was never taught anything of value so I should just continue my ways and bitch and blame. Then Ill sign up on a duramax forum and tell my story and hopefully there will be 8372942 more people like me out there that will feel the same and we can socialize together, and if they are not like that I will still spend time on the same forum bitching and blaming just cause that the way I am and even when people tell me Im a dumb ass including my wife that was prolly raised 100% better than I was, Ill blame them too and bitch at them. In the end Ill still be where I started with no real outlook and only have more people that dont like me but thats ok, because its their fault they dont like me...
